This is one of a series of acrylic glazing studies I painted over the summer. Here I explored a blue/orange complementary scheme. The figure was painted as an open grisaille over an Ultramarine Blue base, followed by Pyrrole Orange glazes in the figure, and then more whites to build texture and form.
